It is aimed at having the institutions in the two basins to use disaster risk management in action planning in order to increase resilience in the Cuvelai and Kunene Basins. The course will equip professionals from the two basins with skills and knowledge that will assist them to anticipate, prepare\/plan for, mitigate, respond to, and recover from both natural and human-made disasters.\u00a0 The course emphasizes on enhancing capacity to prepare, manage risks and address disasters in order to safeguard communities, infrastructure, and organizational resilience.
