The CUVKUN Project is pleased to invite applications from Angola and Namibia for participants to attend this course on Water Demand Management. The Water Demand Management (WDM) course is aimed at building human capacity under the CUVKUN project for the Cuvelai and Kunene River Basins for holistic and effective management for sustainable water resources. This involves the application of selective incentives to promote efficient and equitable use of water in the Cuvelai and Kunene River Basins. Participants will be exposed to critical topics, water conservation, demand forecasting, water pricing and tariffs, public education and awareness, water efficiency standards, leak detection and repair, water reuse and recycling, watershed management, institutional framework and monitoring and evaluation
The course will be both virtual and physical.
